aerial challenge expansion

Posted by Robin Thu, 23 Apr 2009 04:50:28 GMT

image687353857.jpgNow we have operated our course for a few months and worked out our optimum routing on the course we are ready to further expand our challenge elements.
Over the next few weeks we will be adding a high level scramble net, a Jacobs ladder and a gradual balance access to the flying fox. We will also be ( after popular request) me replacing our leap of faith bell with the more challenging adjustable trapese bar.

Contact us on robin@thewildlodge.com for more details on both our one day and overnight aerial challenge programs the perfect team building location.

image1618433924.jpgPeriodic rainfall over the last few weeks have seen the lodge trees and plants take off in a major growth spurt and it feels like the rainy season has arrived a few months early,we have had very little sign of this years dry season and whilst the middle of the day is v.warm mornings and evenings are very pleasant.
Tuesday sees the first group from AIS arrive for their new program so the staff are busy preparing the lodge. Activity crew arrive on Monday.

Early Rains

Posted by Robin Mon, 06 Apr 2009 09:36:00 GMT

As the Songkhran Festival approaches and the Thai New year with it, some occasional rain showers are expected.

However we have had daily showers each afternoon for the past few weeks. This means that the forest, junglke and plants and trees of the lodge have sprung into life and the greenery gives some respite from the April heat.

Hopefully water levels will ahve risen suficently for dam release and the Geng Sam Chan playwave to emerge !

We hope all of our Thai clients have a safe festive season as school holidays are now underway and we will see them on the water in term 3.

Happy Songkhran
